can you say cheese?

I do not know where Ben has picked up his new smile, but it is hilarious! Uncle Chris, did you teach him that???

Well, Meagan and Benjamin are ready to get to school. Everyone is enjoying their new classes and teachers. Benjamin's favorite part is taking his lunch bag with his snack inside.

all about trains

Benjamin has really been playing with his trains lately. Finally, Benjamin has decided that train sounds aren't that scary after all. We had a great time taking him on the little train outside of the zoo today after our picnic at the park. He especially liked the ride back and the popcorn that his sissy bought him. What a big boy!

swimming fun

What a nice way to wrap up the day! We jumped in the pool and it was actually refreshing! Madison swims all over the pool while Meagan would rather perform various tricks where she can touch. Benjamin loves the water!

picnic in the park

Today, we went to the Botanical Gardens for a picnic. The kids loved eating on a blanket and playing in the gardens. Benjamin and Uncle Chris also enjoyed their walk together. We had such a wonderful time just relaxing in the shade.

Benjamin's Busy Playing

Benjamin was very busy playing at school this morning with his new little friend at Kinderplatz. He loves playing in the sand and digging with all of his big shovels and trucks. Our little baby boy is definitely not a baby anymore.

Butterfly Frenzy!

Meagan, Benjamin and I had a blast today out in the backyard watching the butterflies. THEN we remembered that we had an outdoor kit that had a butterfly net still in one piece. Well, it wasn't long before we had caught and released many of these beautiful creatures. Ben just thought this was too cool!

The kids are busy planning a talent show that they are putting on for us later today. Previews heard from the next room include plenty of drums, singing and dancing. Can't wait!

The Lightening Sharks

Madison and the Mighty Lightening Sharks rocked at their first game today. The Lightening Sharks shut out the Wildcats! Madison played the whole game and was goalie the last quarter. She stopped the Wildcats from scoring on several occassions! Way to go, doodlebug!
Of course, Benjamin, Uncle Chris and Sadie were all there to help us cheer on the Briscoe girls.

The Briscoe Bullfrog

Meagan had her first soccer game this morning as a Bullfrog! The first quarter was filled with excitement watching Meagan stand on the field and twist her hair while smiling beautifully for the camera. Second period developed into walking at times behind the beehive surrounding the soccer ball. Third quarter was a constant trot and by the fourth quarter Meagan was in the game, but ready for her Caprisun once the game was over! Seems like just yesterday that it was Madison that was playing with the flowers that were growing on the soccer field and stopping to watch a plane fly overhead.

No Tears Shed

Ben and Meg have a few minutes before leaving for school to pose for a quick picture. Benjamin did not cry at drop off today. Yeah!!!!!!!!
